Fears and Kahn

I love this website, and not only because we share the same surname. Their selection of retro and vintage furniture from the 50's, 60's and 70's is simply exquisite. The jewellery too, is some of the most interesting and unique that i have seen in a long time. None of the boring, cute and quaint pieces that have started to appear in vintage websites and shops everywhere - not to mention the mass produced copies seen all over the high-street. All Fears and Kahn's jewellery has something more to offer, be it funky, bold or sleek, you name it they've got it. With brooches ranging upwards from around £45 it is not as extortionately priced as you may imagine. My favourite ring is the Vesta ring, A 1960's abstract silver Architectural ring with a cut amethyst. Though, at £175 I will have to save for a while.

On my wish list . . .

I've lost count of the amount of times i have been into Office to try these boots on. I'm absolutely in love with them, but at £140 they are just out of my budget. I have tried them on with skirts and skinnies and i just can't manage to find a flaw in them. Perfect for winter, funky for summer. They would look so much better in my closet than on the shop shelf! 

I would love to say that i have nearly saved enough money to buy them, but that would be a lie. I haven't saved a penny, it just isn't in my nature. I see something i like, i buy it (if i can afford it). I see something i look but can't afford it, then I moan about it. I think these boots might be the purchase to change my ways however. If i don't get to take them home soon i think my moaning may turn into sobbing.

Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom announce pregnancy.

Congratulations to Miranda Kerr, 27,and Orlando Bloom, 33, who have just announced that they are expecting a baby. After months of speculation the thousands of onlookers can now rest easy knowing that the rumours were true. Victoria's Secret model, Miranda, announced the news in the coolest fashion through Spanish Vogue “Yes, I’m pregnant. Four months along.”

The couple got married just one month ago in Anguilla, adding more fuel to the speculations about if they were or weren't expecting.

Louis Vuitton's new 50's inspired ad campaign is so effortlessly chic.

The perfectly executed ponytails, flawless makeup and sumptuous waisted silhouettes work seamlessly together. The concoction of patterns, textures and colours - that can only be described as royal - create the perfect backdrop for their new Autumn/Winter collection. 

Karen Elson's flaming red hair is simply stunning against the rich, deep colours of the clothes, the perfect choice of model in my opinion. Karen Elson, Natalia Vodianova and Christy Turlington compliment each other perfectly whilst not deflecting from the beauty and intricate detailing of the clothes and accessories

As for those leather gloves, well, they will certainly be on mine  and every other girls - Christmas wish lists this year.

For some reason i woke up today with this extraordinary women on my mind, the beauty of this women is overwhelming, as is the story of her life.
